We are seeking a Head of Construction to lead buildout for all future Moonrise locations.

We don't care about years of experience or where you went to school. Show us what you've built. Who we’re looking for: You think deeply, communicate clearly, and build for the long term.
You don't want to build a team. You want to build something that doesn't need a team to run. You are friendly and positive, but you also think for yourself and stand for things you believe in. You know and lead all aspects of buildout - site selection, permits, zoning, code, materials, subcontractors, etc. You can design and scale buildout processes in various markets (ex. Chick-fil-a builds offsite and assembles onsite ) You can GC every new build and own responsibility for shipping on time/budget You get excited about traveling to new locations to ensure quality buildouts You are capable of high levels of creativity and thinking outside the box You are engineering-minded with an eye for design.

Here's the deal: This is a full-time position with an exciting startup in its second year of life. We'll pay you fairly and give you ownership in the company. For comparison, the CEO makes $75k/year plus equity. What matters most is finding the right person, and hopefully working together for a long time on solving the most important problem in the world.
