Job Summary
Under close supervision of the Recreation Director, the Head Lifeguard is responsible to perform all essential and professional duties to ensure the effective performance of all lifeguard personnel. Assist the Recreation Director in the training, scheduling, and end-of-season performance assessment of all lifeguard staff members. Responsible to confirm the status of staff members" lifesaving certifications are current. Serve as Supervisor to lifeguard staff and ensure all lifeguards are fully competent in performing water rescues and all lifeguard-assigned duties. Serve as Supervisor to Pool Front Desk and Concessions Staff. Ensure the safety of patrons and enforce adherence to all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Full
