ABOUT THE ROLE: The picker's role is to properly harvest mushrooms meeting the size and quality needs of the customers.


  • LOCATION: Zellwood, Florida
  • RATE OF PAY: The opportunity to make a minimum of $ 11.00 to start with the potential to earn up to $17+/hour, based on the units you pick!

SCHEDULE: Rotating schedule of 5-days per week, with two (2) days off based on current operational needs.


Essential Duties


  • Candidates will be scheduled for an interview.
  • Pick in a manner that prevents bed damage. Using picking cart as instructed.
  • Perform all requirements of sanitation HACCP and GMP standards, including hairnet, beard net, and personal hygiene policies.
  • Pick top trays using the MPA elevator before picking the bottom trays.
  • Recognize the right product sizing and implement the correct picking method. Sort into containers and cut the stem to the right length.
  • Keep aisles and floors free of product and debris.
  • Observe and practice safety procedures at all times. Be safety conscious. Correct or notify the supervisor of safety hazards. In the event of an accident, notify the supervisor immediately.


REQUIRED SKILLS: Previous experience is preferred but not required!
