Job Description

Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Assisting more experienced swimmers to enhance their swimming abilities.
  • Monitoring students to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Ensuring that the swimming pool is clean and tidy.
  • Assessing the progress of students and adjusting teaching programs accordingly.
  • Teach swimming techniques, swimming strokes, and water safety rules to students with varying swimming abilities.

Job requirements

  • Sound knowledge of proper swimming techniques and water safety rules.
  • Life Guard/CPR certified within 30 days of employment
  • Current Life Guard Certification Preferred

Location: Rush Copley Medical Center · Healthplex Aquatics
Schedule: Non-Benefited Part-Time, Various, 11:00am-2:30pm or 4:30pm-8pm M-F, Sa/Su 8:00am-4:00pm
