Ground Support Equipment Mechanic

GSE

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure Fuel Farm remains operational and in compliance with all local, state, and federal compliance regulations
• Develop a preventive maintenance program
• Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, and modifying all GSE as required
• Rebuild, repair, and provide preventive maintenance on airport ground support equipment, vehicles, and other related equipment

Qualifications:

• Basic hand tool set up to 1/2" drive, basic power tools, and storage box required
• Knowledge of frame, chassis, and suspension systems
• 2 years of experience with aviation ground support equipment preferred / basic electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and understand schematics
• Basic knowledge of gas and diesel engines / experience with diesel, hydraulics, and electrical equipment
