Greenhouse Grower/ Manager

Full Time Seasonal (February-October) for a small family owned greenhouse and nursery garden center in New Castle Colorado.

Job Summary:

Responsible for the greenhouse growing operations including irrigation, fertilizer and chemical mixing and application, insect and disease management, and crop timing. Develop and implement production plan. Train and supervise greenhouse staff. Provide outstanding customer service. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Housing on the farm is possible.

Requirements:

• Brings a positive attitude and good work environment
• Knowledge of greenhouse systems
• Ability to speak Spanish is nice but not required.
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of horticultural plants, practices and insect identification.
