Job Description

TheGraphics Design &Marketing Specialistwill be primarily responsible for creating content that is consistent in quality, tone-of-voice, style and is properly communicating the Zero Zone brand across digital and print channels. He/she would be the lead in executing on brand strategy, and website management. Experience in graphic design and copy writing is essential. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a continuous improvement mindset.Some of the key responsibilities are:


Content Creation

  • Capable in photography and videography. Produce, shoot and edit small video projects, as needed. Produce electronic photo retouching and graphic design/production
  • Experienced in copywriting print and web collateral content
  • Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with marketing team, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include simultaneous projects.
  • Direct and oversee graphic design and layout of content and other creative done by outside agencies. Write briefs for agency partners as needed.
  • Create a wide variety of graphic design materials which may include marketing collateral, presentations, advertising, print literature, signage, newsletters, social media posts, logos, and other additional projects as needed.
  • Build, update, organize, and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video – creating a content asset library as generated.
  • Works with the Sourcing team to keep projects within budget and meet the company’s financial objectives.


Brand Management

  • With some oversight, develop and execute the brand strategy. Review all materials to ensure that communications are brand-compliant, support the intended messaging and meet the company’s marketing goals and mission.
  • Create and communicate brand guidelines and templates for associates
  • Serve as a central resource for all brand-related information and brand-building programs.


Website

  • Coordinate with partner agencies and IT team to ensure the website rebuild project is executed on-time and on-budget.
  • Manage website agencies, implement, and continuously improve our website and other resources built on the WordPress platforms
  • Analyze metrics to improve user experience and optimize site performance.
  • Directly support efforts to grow qualified leads, by converting site traffic through effective use of calls‐to‐action, landing pages, and lead generation offers; evaluates and implements additional tools to make lead generation more effective
  • Build web content and write concisely and effectively to create web experiences that are compelling, informative and user-friendly. Oversee day-to-day website operations, including updating content as needed.


Other duties as identified by the Marketing department.


What Are We Looking For?

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of you in this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing or related field required.
  • Demonstrated excellence in copywriting/content marketing.
  • Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics a plus
  • Familiarity with Solidworks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing tasks on time
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite; creativity, innovative design skills, and strong typography skills
  • An understanding of web creative design including basic principles of UX and UI. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress.
  • Previous experience in a technical environment is a big plus.
  • 3+ years professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio of work (preferably in an Industrial B2B environment or with a creative/ marketing agency)
  • Continuous Improvement mindset, think critically and solve problems
  • Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software, video creative, and experience on photo and video shoots
