Job Description
About The Opportunity


The Graphic Designer will create and design marketing materials for digital and print with responsibility for delivering effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy creative. This position will also be responsible for overall content management of company asset library. The ideal candidate will have a stunning portfolio of various work, be an effective problem solver, and thrive in a fast-paced marketing environment.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Solicits feedback and acts to continuously improve success of team.
  • Ensure behavior and performance supports the company’s mission, vision, values, and operating principles.
  • Work with Creative Director to translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director to develop and execute design and production for email campaigns , banner advertising, website assets, presentations, brochures, flyers, advertising, direct mail and other marketing collateral to support the business.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget.
  • Provide design support to other business lines and vessel support to create product graphics, logos, identity design, or other similar online and offline graphics.
  • Translate product positioning and offline/online Marketing strategies into effective digital and print designs.
  • Ensure consistency of brand and creative across guest and travel trade channels.
  • Perform retouching and manipulation of images and asset management.
  • Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.


Education


Requirements & Qualifications:


  • AA degree in digital design, graphic design, graphic communications, or related field minimum required.
  • BA degree preferred.


Skills & Abilitites


  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills, with proactive communication at the forefront
  • Advanced level of experience using Adobe Suite, which includes proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and execute flawlessly
  • Strong ability to interpret data to make sound strategic decisions
  • Ability to work diligently, effectively, and efficiently while managing multiple deadlines
  • Ability to carry out independent judgment in project management
  • Experience in a matrixed marketing organization a plus
  • Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office applications including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
  • Must possess sense of urgency in all tasks; must be proactive and always prepared to handle any situation


Experience


  • 2 - 4 years of experience in graphic design with marketing agency or in-house marketing department.
  • Cruise or travel/hospitality experience a plus


Other


  • Submit to and pass alcohol and drug tests including but not limited to pre- employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident/incident testing
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Additional requirements may be required depending on the physical needs of the role
