Graphic Designer Jobs

Strategic Responsibility:

Requires a unique ability to create visually stunning graphics across a variety of mediums, including desktop publishing, digital, web, and branding. The successful candidate will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into compelling and effective design solutions. Must be able to carry out multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and manage schedules accordingly. This position utilizes current trends in design to promote cultural impact and consumer engagement.

:

• Monitor budget information evaluate appropriate expenditures for development of marketing elements and components.
• Prioritize assigned graphic design projects, monitor progress and bring to completion in a prompt and timely manner.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.
• Liaise and collaborate with appropriate staff on assigned graphic design projects.
• Manage relationships with outside vendors/freelancers to ensure graphic design projects meet deadlines and costs.
• Develop, and design creative elements and marketing components in support of marketing strategies, plans and campaigns for David C Cook, which represent a thoughtful approach to strategy and promotional direction.

Position Requirements:

Formal Education: Bachelor's degree in art/design/art education.

Experience: 3-5 in graphic design for publishing and digital media. Preferred experience advertising, packaging, and web design. Must have strong typography skills. Knowledge in product development, design thinking, project management and or video production/editing a plus.

Specialized Knowledge/Certification: Working knowledge of print technology, illustration, photography, and production. Proven layout and typography skills. Proficient in all Mac-based Adobe CC design software required (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat). Additional working experience with HTML/CSS, Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro, After Effects are a plus. Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.

Equipment Knowledge: Excellent command of Macintosh computer.
