What you'll do...

Even the best ideas need to be pitched and presented.

That's why Sam's Club Member Access Platform (MAP) looking for a talented presentation designer and visual storyteller. Reporting to the Senior Designer and brand marketing team, you will help our team create PowerPoint decks, infographics, and design systems in support of the sales, marketing, and executive leadership.

This is a mostly remote position, but candidates should be reasonably close to the location.

Job location

Primary: Atlanta, GA area

Secondary: Bentonville, AR

Sam's Club MAP is an ad tech startup inside one of the world's largest and most successful companies-Walmart. We're building a platform for brands and advertisers to help Sam's Club members find the right products at the right moment, using data on millions of transactions.

What you'll do

• Work within Sam's Club MAP brand guidelines to elevate internal and external communications, with opportunities to create new brands and design systems
• Master the dark arts of PowerPoint and presentations, creating compelling and effective visual stories
• Evaluate existing presentations for visual improvements and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Design infographics, charts, and visuals using Adobe Creative Suite
• Figure out how to make our exciting new business grow and adapt

Qualifications

• Graphic design, marketing, or communications background preferred
• An instinct for layout, typography, and presentation design
• Personal strengths include time management, written communication, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
• Bachelors degree in Design, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field preferred, but your work samples matter more
• A great looking portfolio with work samples
• You are very good-but preferably legendary-at Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools. Light animation skills a plus!
• 2+ years experience in design, advertising, marketing, interactive design or retail preferred
