The Role: Grant Project Manager

The Grant Project Manager will be responsible for managing system wide grants and providing support and expertise to MaineGeneral Departments related to the implementation of grant-funded programs and projects.
The Opportunity:
MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Grant Project Manager to play a critical role in the management and implementation of grants across the organization.
The Work:
  • You work with key stakeholders to create and implement project plans that outline the tasks, timelines, and resources required to achieve the goals and objectives of the grant.
  • You provide support and technical assistance to department Grant Program Managers on topics such as:
  • You communicate with the project team and stakeholders, manage risks and issues, and monitor progress to ensure that the grant-funded projects are within scope, on schedule and within budget.
  • Organization policies and procedures
  • Reporting guidelines
  • Strategic priorities, etc.
  • You establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including staff, clinical leadership and funders and serve as the primary point of contact for grant-related activities.
  • You support special projects as needed and determined by Director of Grants
You Have:
  • A Bachelor’s degree and 3-5+ years professional experience in grant management, project management – preferably in health care, nonprofit or not-for profit sectors.
  • Experience operating at all levels in a dynamic, complex organizational environment
  • Community/Public Health experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
  • A strong desire to work onsite with a robust team.
