Grant Administrator - Full Time - Days - Remote

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Director of Population Health, or designee, the Grant Administrator is responsible for overseeing the grant department, coordinating, writing and managing grant applications and their compliance. The manager will serve as a liaison to content experts, external vendors and community partners involved in grant proposals, project implementation and grant management.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee pre- and post-award section, including requirements to ensure completion of required documentation and overall grant compliance in collaboration with content experts
• Research opportunities and devise approaches for dedicated funding for MVHS research programs from Federal, State and local government, public, and private foundations.
• Provide direct supervision to the MVHS grant writer.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Lead the MVHS grant operations committee and ensure the implementation of committee work plans.
• Revise and edit policies, procedures, internal controls for Finance Administration and Accounting Division internal audits and Single Audit preparation.
• Ensure portal access and compliance requirements for state and federal grant submission.
• Serve as grants administrator, internal auditor, compliance, and reporting with Uniform Guidance 2 CFR Part 200, 31 U.S.C. Part 35 Final Rule for budget G&L uses, and Single Audits
• Advise MVHS leadership, content experts and grant leads regarding partnership and subcontracting opportunities with partners, vendors and/ or external partners.
• Assist Principal Investigators and academic staff to write grant proposals and/or serve as lead to facilitate grant application response.

Education/Experience Requirements

REQUIRED:

• 5 years of experience in grant research, writing, and application processes
• Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, a related degree, or equivalent experience

PREFERRED:

• Experience in health care setting, specializing in healthcare grant research, writing, and application processes
• Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration
