Air Quality/Decarbonization Engineer/Scientist (Graduate)

GHD has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Graduate Air Quality/Decarbonization Engineer . This position can be based out of Farmington Hills, MI; Indianapolis, IN; or St. Paul, MN .

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Assist in regulatory compliance audits.
• Assist GHG verification team in verification audits.
• Assist decarbonization and air quality to team to assist our clients in reaching net zero carbon goals by developing projects.
• Develop greenhouse Gas (GHG) baseline for our clients including GHG estimation quantification.
• Prepare air permit applications with support from senior air engineers.
• Support air quality compliance management in multiple industries, including: automotive, refining, industrial/manufacturing, chemical/petrochemical, electrical utility and manufacturing.
• Assist in air emissions estimations.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Attention to detail.
• B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering, Science or a related field; M.S. preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with other technical professionals, clients, and regulatory officials in person and in writing.
• 0-5 years of air quality permitting, compliance and/or modeling experience; consulting experience preferred.
