The Role


Global Education and Device Consulting Manager


Position Summary


This role supports Global Medical Sciences and Clinical Education (MSCE) requirements for Avanos Medical. Ensures the achievement of clinical education accreditation standards, needs assessment, development, delivery, and assessment. Provides backup support for the customer-facing Learning Management System. Leverages medical knowledge supporting program development. Directly interacts with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Key Option Leaders (KOL), and customers. Conducts research using peer review literature. Writes medical white papers to support business requirements. Project management responsibilities related to various curriculum and course development initiatives.

Your Qualifications


  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with working in a global organization.
  • Currently licensed health professional. (ex. Experience as an active licensed Physician’s Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Registered nurse, or Physician.)
  • Previous course development experience.
  • 2- 3 years of medical device experience.
  • Program and project administration.
  • Appropriate knowledge of medical guidelines and standards.
  • Ability to make medical device-related risk management recommendations.
  • Public speaking including healthcare professional groups.
  • Proficient Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Suite


Job Accountabilities And Expectations


  • Author articles, summaries, and various supporting white papers.
  • Project Management responsibilities for MSCE projects. This includes leading external HCPs during the course development process.
  • Interact with key professional and accrediting organizations.
  • Support Global Clinical Affairs (GCA) with related clinical studies.
  • Manage high-quality clinical education programs.
  • Evaluate and edit clinical education programs developed by others.
  • Acquire and maintain contemporary knowledge of products supported through clinical education initiatives.
  • Provide consulting expertise on clinical training and education for Avanos Medical on a global scale.
  • Achieve department goals set by Sr. Manager, MSCE.
  • Design, develop, conduct, evaluate, and update clinical education programs appropriate for the various targeted audiences.
  • Interface with appropriate personnel and Health Care Professionals (HCP) to produce continuing education programs.
  • Lead accreditation compliance responsibilities.
  • Conduct and develop surveys for clinical customers and internal stakeholders.
