Job Description
Position Overview:
Portland Glass, a Neighborly Company, is looking for a Glazier/Glass Technician to service our customer needs while meeting industry standards and safety requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Install glass to meet industry standards
  • Regularly inspect assigned equipment and perform maintenance as needed
  • Perform other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classification other than their own
  • Read and understand blueprints and specifications to know necessary work details
  • Operate company vehicles responsibly and safely
  • Completes jobs within the scheduled time frames
  • Follow necessary precautions to ensure safe handling of glass and materials
Required Attributes:
  • Proficient with the use of hand tools
  • Ability and willingness to perform 24-hour emergency and work in all weather conditions
  • Selected applicants are subject to, and must pass, a background check and drug screen, per applicable state laws.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Education & Experience:
Education: High School or GED
Experience: 0-1 years’ experience
