Job Description
Summary


The City of Novi is seeking a part-time GIS Intern. The GIS Intern will be responsible for providing field data acquisition support using city GPS equipment and will perform GIS analysis and GIS product development. The candidate should have a proven capability to work independently under varying levels of direct supervision.


Necessary Qualifications For Employment


  • A familiarity with Esri's desktop software (ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro) and ArcGIS Online mapping system are preferred.
  • The candidate must also have knowledge of Global Positioning System (GPS) principles.
  • Must possess Geographic Information Science education and experience using GIS software.


Compensation: Hourly rate $15 per hour with no benefits. Up to 24 hours per week.
