Job Description
Job Number: R0174578

Geospatial Analyst, Mid

The Opportunity:

With cloud-based tools, faster GPUs, and the explosion of connected devices, geospatial data has more potential than ever. A skilled analyst can turn that data into valuable or mission critical information. If that sounds like you, we have an opportunity for you to use your geospatial analysis skills to transform the United States Air Force (USAF) Civil Engineer (CE).

As a geospatial analyst, you’ll work with a team of analysts to extract meaning and context from facility surveys and LiDAR scans. Using resources like ArcGIS, Cyclone, and Revit, you’ll find the patterns and connections to answer the USAF needs. You’ll also use your skills to leverage satellite, airborne, and terrestrial or handheld LiDAR remote sensing solutions, and help analyze survey data to assess meaning and potential intent. You’ll develop data to geospatial solutions for Space Utilization. Your visualization skills will come in handy as you build datasets to ensure accurate Real Property allocations.

We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop workflows. This is an opportunity to strengthen your experience in data collection and processing while developing products to improve the USAF CE.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • Ability to work with AutoCAD files and transfer them into geospatial data formats
  • Ability to conduct facility surveys
  • Experience with ESRI and ArcGIS Desktop as it relates to building drawings and facilities
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Ability to use software applications, including Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Access
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Leica Cyclone 3D point cloud processing software
  • Secret clearance
  • Knowledge of DoD installations, missions, organizations, and facility types, including Category Codes
  • Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering, or Geography
  • Experience with DoD clients, applying Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 32-1084, Facility Requirements, Air Force Instruction (AFI) 32-7062, and Comprehensive Planning
  • AutoDesk or GISP certification
  • Experience with CAD and Revit, as it relates to building drawings and facilities
  • Knowledge of AFI 32-1015, Integrated Installation Planning, DAFI 32-9005, and Real Property Accountability and Reporting

Clearance:
