Position Summary

Responsible for receiving, stock, fill orders, and load merchandise in distribution center.

The company also requires that all employees perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.

Essential Job Functions

• Record amounts of items distributed.
• Move items from receiving areas to storage area with lift truck.
• Separate and moves pallets.
• Count inventory and checks as required.
• Cleans work area.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Sort and route materials and merchandise.
• Fill orders.
• Verify vendor shipments to purchase orders.
• Weigh/count items for distribution within DC.
• Operate lift truck to transport items to and from various DC locations (racks, flow slots, etc.).
• Load/unload trailers.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to work weekends on an occasional basis.
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to work any shift(s).
• Familiarity with distribution center terms and processes.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to work overtime on an occasional basis.
• Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to meet production standards.

Desired Previous Job Experience

• Less than high school education plus two years experience in warehouse; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
