POSITION SUMMARY: The General Warehouse Associate at Devon Industries works closely side by side with other warehouse employees including but not limited to Tech I, II, III, Supervisors, and Managers. The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring proper placement and sorting of materials that order picking requires such as manuals and other necessary hardware kits to get the product ready to ship. Experience in warehouse assembly, shipping & receiving is a plus. This is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity to grow into other areas of the warehouse. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Required to exert physical effort in handling objects up to 75 pounds for part of the workday
• Attend weekly/monthly safety/operations meetings.
• Inspect materials and sort items or materials into piles or places in a container according to type, size, and condition.
• Follow appropriate standard operating procedures (SOPs) as a guideline for operating and maintaining equipment.
• Required to be exposed to a physical environment that involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar elements in a warehouse environment.
• Responsible for performing individual day-to-day job assignments under normal supervision after competence has been demonstrated
• Report any worker-public safety factors and/or equipment malfunctions.
• Keep the surrounding work area clean.
• Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity to sort all quick lube hardware kits.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Stack boxes and skids. Dump boxes and totes of material.
