A General Field Labor LG1 job in Eastern Washington (Paterson/Sunnyside- Mattawa, WA) is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). Perform a variety of vineyard tasks including but not limited to tying, training, and suckering of grapevines; thinning of plants; utilizing hand shears; hand picking of grapes into buckets or lugs; leaf removal, weeding, planting, replanting, stake pounding, clipping wire. Occasional use of trellis tools. 8 – 9-hour workdays. May be required to work Saturdays.

A General Field Labor LG1 job responsibilities include:
- Report any damage to vines, trellis, etc.
- Always remain alert to any environmental conditions.
- Monitor performance of equipment and reporting it to supervisory staff should repair be needed.
- Maintain and understand proper use of all personal protective equipment.
Position Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age minimum
- Previous experience in AG related work, preferably vineyard operation
Your Compensation
$15.74 an hour
