Game Rant is looking for an eager and talented Freelance Weekend Video Game Features Writer to join its Features team.

As a weekend features writer, prospective applicants will assist with covering the biggest topics in video games, editorializing important details about the most popular titles, and diving deep into a variety of video game communities.

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for writers who can:

• Report to the Lead Editor and implement feedback efficiently.
• Work under tight deadlines and submit articles for publication on time.
• Research and source their topics proficiently.
• Be a dedicated and consistent contributor to the site.
• Bring original topics and a plethora of gaming knowledge to the table.
• Contribute a minimum of 3 features articles per day Friday through Sunday.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to produce exquisite content.
• Pitch regular content and research popular games.
• Ability to maintain a contracted freelance schedule.

Application Requirements:

• Please provide 2-3 samples of previously written work covering video games.

• Ability to source information/news from different websites.
• Experience in SEO practices.
• Regular weekend availability to contribute to the site from Friday through Sunday.
