Job Description

BEST Crowd Management, a GardaWorld Company, is searching for professional, service-focused individuals for 24-hour Security positions for Protective Stadium, Legacy Arena, & Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex!

Responsibilities:

  • Support guests with wayfinding through the facility
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for guests, team officials, players, and other individuals associated with the event
  • Report issues to your supervisor as you observe them
  • Greet guests as they enter and leave the event
  • Ensure a family-friendly environment in all areas of the convention complex
  • This position is the front line ambassador to the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex
  • Create a premier experience for guests at Protective Stadium and Legacy Arena


Basic Qualifications:

  • You have the ability to stand for extended periods, sometimes throughout an entire event (notify us of reasonable accommodations) and you are comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Have strong, clear communication skills
  • Be willing to work weekends
  • Preferred: candidates with prior military or law enforcement experience/background
  • Consent to background check and drug screen
  • Team player, quick thinker with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
