Family Syllabus: The most loving and kind family in Lower Manhattan is looking for the perfect nanny for their growing infant! They describe their darling girl as the happiest baby they’ve ever met and they can’t wait to find someone who can bring even more joy to their lives. Their daughter will be 8-months-old at the start date of this position! She is a smiley, warm girl who loves to eat, read, and stay active. Dad works inside the home, and Mom will be returning back to school 3 days a week in the Fall. They are very excited to bring a joyful nanny into their home to join their family, as you will be a respected and valued, important part of their life.

Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal nanny is bilingual and well-versed in infant milestones! Nannies with experience supporting an exclusively breastfed little one would fit in perfectly with this loving and determined Mom. These parents are calm, kind, and extremely caring and are hoping to find a nanny who matches their energy. They are searching for a nanny who is very passionate about the development of children. They utilize Montessori style learning and gentle parenting, and would love a nanny who can bring that knowledge and join them in that. They value respect and kindness in their home. Candidates that live in New York or have previously lived there and know how to navigate the city are also at the top of this incredible family’s wish list. A college degree is not required for this position, and you are not required to have a driver’s license, as driving will not be needed in this role.

Job Synopsis: Spend your days with this sweet baby, tidying up play and sleeping areas, handling tiny laundry, and cleaning up after mealtimes and snacks. The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. This role is paying $30-40/hour gross with paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. This family is offering 7 vacation days of your choosing and an additional 20 days that are set by the family! They are also open to offering a monthly medical stipend. Overnights will rarely be requested. Travel is not required with this family, but opportunities for the nanny to travel may arise in the future for a nanny who enjoys traveling and is open to it.

Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who is fully COVID vaccinated and boosted.

Qualifications:

Five years of professional nanny experience

CPR/first aid certification
