Job description Houston's Inc. is looking for a helpful, energetic Merchandiser to join our team! This always moving, always on your feet position is responsible for merchandising products with our customer's foodservice warehouse-format style stores. Pay: $20.00/hr Work location Spokane & Spokane Valley, WA Schedule: Monday 8:00 AM 6 hours Tuesday 8:00 AM 8 hours Wednesday 8:00 AM 6 hours Thursday 8:00 AM 8-9 hours Friday 8:00 AM 8 hours Hours may vary depending on business needs, hours may increase during summer. Type: Full Time Functions or Duties: Service accounts during designated times established by management Provide exceptional customer service and work closely with personnel Responsible for appearance and cleanliness of accounts Maintain product on store shelves by ensuring appropriate inventory levels and proper product rotation Transport product from backroom to display floor with manual equipment such as pallet jack or flat cart Audit packing list, report discrepancies, and return damaged or defective products Build and maintain promotional displays Use handheld devices to input/submit orders Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: 18 years or older Valid government-issued identification Maintain a clean and neat appearance Regular, reliable, predictable attendance Ability to operate under minimal supervision Education and Experience: Merchandising or equivalent work experience preferred Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Lift, load, push and pull products weighing upwards of 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds Climb stairs or ladders, as well as walking, squatting, kneeling, bending or reaching while merchandising and moving products Ability to judge distances Exposure to cold, heat, loud noises, and machinery while performing job duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Travel: No traveling between stores required for this position location. Mileage is reimbursed.
