Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Entry Level Full Stack Web Developer to join our team. As a Full Stack Web Developer at Patterned Learning, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge web applications. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about both front-end and back-end development and want to gain valuable experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, modular, and efficient code for both front-end and back-end components
• Design and maintain databases and perform database queries for data retrieval and manipulation
• Implement responsive and user-friendly front-end designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and user experience
• Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry trends
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain web applications
• Develop server-side code and APIs using programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Node.js

Requirements:

• Proficiency in at least one server-side programming language (Python, Ruby, Node.js, etc.)
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with databases and SQL
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
• Experience with front-end frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Firebase, etc.)
• Familiarity with back-end frameworks (such as Django, Ruby on Rails, Express, etc.)
• Projects or personal portfolio showcasing your full-stack development skills
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, etc.)
• Understanding of web security best practices
