Full Stack (React) Developer

Summary:

Celero Commerce is looking for a Full Stack Typescript (React & NodeJS) Developer to join our team developing a net-new cloud-native application to serve our internal teams, business partners, and customers. Our mission is to deliver simple-to-use, bundled electronic payments solutions that enable efficient, sustainable growth for small to mid-sized businesses.

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for working with a cross-functional team to design, implement, and maintain the entire application stack, from the back-end (NodeJS GraphQL API) through the front-end (ReactJS). The ideal candidate has strong communication/collaboration skills, and the desire to learn new things, try new technology, and seek opportunities to grow.

Job Requirements:

• Conduct peer-reviews of code for standard pull request activity
• Work with project management and key business partners to create and groom user stories
• Assist with creating the application front-end using ReactJS, building reusable components
• Be a key contributor to the development of a full-stack TypeScript application
• Leverage Storybook for component design
• Author unit tests using Jest, ensuring acceptable code coverage
• Implement the data abstraction layer using GraphQL and SQL
• Aid in technical support of production systems
• Develop software documentation for developed source code
• Translate designs and wireframes into clean, scalable, and secure high-quality code, meeting functional requirements and architectural direction

Qualifications

• 2+ years ReactJS development - thorough understanding of React and its core principles
• Understanding of web application debugging, including for security and performance
• 4+ years professional web development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and moderate to extensive experience with TypeScript
• Understanding and use of DevOps as part of the development process
• Experience with CSS and supporting frameworks
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize, work with multiple teams, and deliver efficiently
• Solid experience in SQL Server development
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (likely in Computer Science or related field)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, or related education/experience
• Demonstrated aptitude at creating practical unit tests
• Strong experience developing APIs
