Project Overview:

  • 2 days a week minimum (Wednesday & Thursday)
  • Private Passport is Northern Trust's flagship banking and investment portal used by NT's private clients.
  • The team comprises of UX/UI engineers, DevOps engineers, Java Engineers, Test Engineers & Scrum Master.
  • The mission of the Private Passport Document and Collaboration domain team is to enable clients to access documents & functionality related to engaging NT client service team.
  • The team is composed of multiple teams, the Document and Collaboration domain team being one of the teams that requires backend development.
  • Agile/Scrum Methodology is followed.
  • Expected to come into the office (50LaSalle NT Building)
  • We need a local candidate (Chicagoland based)


Qualifications:

  • Competent using CD/CI (Bamboo & GIT) - GIT based source code management tools
  • General familiarity with AZURE DevOps (Azure Board, GITHUB, GITHUB Actions)
  • Familiarity with Test Driven Development
  • Spring Security
  • Spring Boot (Microservices)
  • General familiarity with Cloud Foundry (PCF)
  • ReactJS
  • Familiarity with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS
  • Competent using JavaScript.
  • General familiarity with OWASP
  • Java 8.0 and above
  • General familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS and or Amber.


Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with fundamental Cloud Deployment
  • Familiarity with fundamental DEVOPS Pipeline
  • Familiarity with fundamental AZURE DevOps (Azure Board, GITHUB, GITHUB Actions)


Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Ensure to use tools like NT Scanning tools / NT code quality and security tools
  • Follow Best Practices and Reusable Patterns followed by NT
  • Perform the impact Analysis before design and coding
  • Interact with team members as well as external team (Team Player)
  • Re-present Document Collaboration Domain in Release exécution and Change Control
  • Document flows (define the layout and structure)
  • Participate in Production issue calls and interact with support and Level 3 team to solve Technical problems.
  • Ensure develop Test Cases
