Calling all full stack developers – it is an exciting time to be a part of Freddie Mac! Our Multifamily Technology office is searching for driven, highly innovative developers on the cutting edge of new technology to join the division in our McLean office! We are looking for all levels to include Professional, Senior, and Tech Lead with the right experience. All positions are hybrid in-office Tuesday – Thursday each week. Our Impact:

The Multifamily Business Technology Office supports our Multifamily division. Freddie Mac Multifamily finances rental housing to ensure an ample supply of affordable housing. We provide mortgage funding for apartment loans throughout the nation, purchasing loans from a network of lenders and then securitizing them. We cover large metropolitan areas, mid-market cities and smaller communities to house a wide array of renters such as students, working families and more.

Your Impact:

You will be a mentor to the team, driving full (and accurate) adoption of software engineering and delivery practices (Agile, TDD, ATDD, Stateless Design, Microservices, Containerization, etc.).

:

Professionals: 2-4 years

• Other: EKS, Docker, Open Shift
• Cloud: AWS
• Modern Tools: Jenkins, Cucumber, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git
• DBs: PostgreSQL, Mongo
• A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience engineering awesome solutions
• Strong knowledge and experience in designing for and implementing solutions in the cloud (AWS). This can range from custom code on IaaS/PaaS to SaaS solution integrations.
• Languages: Java, Angular, node.js, Python
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience
• We are looking for builders - GitHub, school or internship projects, passion

Seniors: 5 -7 years

• Languages: Java, Angular, node.js, Python
• Strong knowledge and experience in designing for and implementing solutions in the cloud (AWS). This can range from custom code on IaaS/PaaS to SaaS solution integrations.
• A minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience engineering awesome solutions
• DBs: PostgreSQL, Mongo
• Other: EKS, Docker, Open Shift
• Modern Tools: Jenkins, Cucumber, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience
• Cloud: AWS

Leads – 7 – 10+ years

· 7-10 + years of IT experience in design, development, integration and testing of software solutions based on J2EE, S technologies

• 7-10 + years of demonstrated experience with relational databases including Sybase, SQL Server, MySQL, and/or DB2
• 3-5 + developing RESTful web services using Spring Boot
• 4+ years of progressive management experience

.NET Professionals: 4 - 5 years

• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise software development and maintenance using ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WCF, REST Services and .NET Core
• Solid C# .NET development experience up to the latest .NET frameworks
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Must be proficient in SOAP- or REST-based web services, XML and JSON technologies
• Strong TSQL skills and experience in constructing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning for Microsoft SQL
• Experience with Cloud (AWS / Azure) will be a plus.
• Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Git and Confluence
• Experience with unit testing using tools like MSTest, NUnit and mocking frameworks like Moq
• Experience with AngularJS, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience in configuring builds and deployments on CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps and Jenkins)
• Experience with Agile methodologies, SCRUM.
• Experience with SSIS and SSRS

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $122,000 - $182,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
