Buchanan & Edwards is seeking a Senior Data Full Stack Engineer with ETL expertise to provide proven, industry leading capabilities to our customer.

Top Secret / SCI

• Participate in Agile Scrum SDLC activities.
• Perform unit and integration testing of software/systems prior to release to the users for user acceptance testing.
• Experience with data exploration techniques and development of quantitative and qualitative data analysis process, design robust ETL pipelines.
• Work in a team environment to design, develop, and support a software system which is undergoing a modernization.
• Support developing Agile SDLC phase documentation.
• Participate in developing new functionality and migrating the application into the cloud and introducing new technologies into the tech stack.
• Experience with ETL development, extraction, and parsing.

Required Qualifications

• Led a technical team for at least five (5) years.
• Spring boot framework
• Five (5) years of experience architecting software solutions based on customer requirement.
• Database experience
• Microservice architecture
• Three (3) years of experience designing and implementing automated build and deployment pipelines and supporting platform.
• BS degree and twelve (12) years of experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
• Java Programming
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability.
• Cloud native applications
• A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
• MySql or similar

Desired Qualifications

• React JS experience
• Knowledge of data acquisition and ingestion of structured and unstructured data sources ensuring quality and data integrity
• Experience with bi-directional cross-domain solutions
• Experience with an Agile environment and have developed User Stories.
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• AWS/ Kubernetes cloud development

• Leverage experience and expertise in data exploration, and engineering, to explore, architect, develop, and deploy application for processing structured and unstructured data into usable data formats for long term storage, search, and analysis. The right candidate will be part of developing cutting edge Entity Resolution applications.

• Be able to differentiate what is Deduplication, Canonicalisation and Record Lineage
• Experience with search tools - Solr or Elastic Search
• Have worked in an Agile environment. 
• Knowledge of language translation experience
• Eight (8) years of experience with languages such as Java, Scala or Python, used in support of development and production operations
• Experience with Bayesian Statistics
• Knowledge of graph analytics is a plus
• Knowledge of distributed computing is a must - Apache Spark stack
• Statistical methods such as Latent Semantic Hashing and Gibbs Sampling
• Experience in data management processing
• You have worked on teams that practice Agile methodologies. 
• Experience with AWS
• Data analysis, normalization, transliteration
• A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
• Understand importance graph algorithms such as connected components
