Responsibilities

• Manage and adhere to project timelines, deliverables and deadlines.
• Manage, complex back-end tasks such as web asset migration, search optimization, coding to WCAG/ADA compliance, and programming.
• Own various design tasks involved in the web development life cycle from start to finish
• Oversee the quality, functionality and maintenance for all hosted websites.
• Receive and incorporate team and client feedback.
• Code WP sites based on approved page designs and art files.
• Render device-responsive sites.
• Work alongside cross-functional teammates in design, account management, leadership, content development and SEO to produce innovative work that exceeds client expectations.

Requirements:

• Advanced understanding of the WordPress core software and its functions at the code level.
• Understanding of WordPress coding and security best practices.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize projects.
• Experience with Node a plus.
• Possess an ambitious work ethic.
• Knowledge in DNS, MX Records, SSH, FTP, and cPanel
• Not afraid to seek help and ask questions when necessary.
• Must be willing to accept and adapt to cross-channel and client feedback in a professional manner.
• Understanding of web performance best practices (e.g. analyze and optimize critical rendering path).
• Strong knowledge of PHP/HTML/JAVASCRIPT/CSS.
• Eagerness to learn new trends and technologies to keep our agency at the forefront of dental websites.
• Experience building custom WordPress websites.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• At least 2-3 years' of experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in at least one server-side technology (Java, PHP, NodeJS, Python, Ruby)
• Experience with Wordpress a plus
