Responsibilities:

• Answer customer inquiries, address concerns, and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
• Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate cash management.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Fill coffee and Espresso drink orders
• Collaborate with the back of house team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of the house, ensuring the display area is visually appealing and well-stocked.
• Stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competition to offer a competitive edge in sales and customer service.
• Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain knowledge of doughnut flavors, ingredients, and allergen information to provide accurate information to customers.
• Upsell and promote new products, specials, and loyalty programs to maximize sales.
• Contribute to a positive team environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve overall store objectives.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in selecting and recommending doughnut flavors, offerings, and related products.

Qualifications:

• Basic math skills and proficiency in using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
• Customer-centric approach, with a genuine passion for providing exceptional service and creating positive customer experiences.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and engaging personality.
• Flexibility to work in a shift-based schedule, must be able to work weekends.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Previous experience in a customer service or sales-oriented role is preferred.
• Strong sales mindset with a proven ability to upsell and drive sales.
• Experience in making drinks and having Barista experience is a plus

Working Conditions:

The front of house environment can be fast-paced and requires standing for long periods. The candidate must be comfortable working in a customer-focused setting and be able to handle occasional high volumes of customer traffic. The bakery may be subject to temperature changes and may be noisy at times.
