Job Description
Position Overview


Stanley, a HAVI company, is experiencing explosive growth, especially in our DTC/e-Commerce space. To sustain and extend this expansion, we’re looking for a skilled Front End Web Developer with experience customizing and developing Shopify stores.


The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Shopify platform and experience developing and maintaining the front-end of a Shopify website. You will focus on ensuring our global stores are user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for performance.

Note: This position is a hybrid role based in our Seattle, WA office.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Owning the implementation and functionality of various Shopify Apps that support our customer experience
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to ensure the smooth running of Shopify sites
  • Continuously stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, best practices, and industry trends to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge solutions
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth integration of front-end features
  • Customize and integrate Shopify apps and themes to meet client needs
  • Develop and maintain global Stanley Shopify websites, ensuring they are up to date and meet the latest design and development standards
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on how to effectively use their Shopify stores


Who You Are


  • A clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experienced with GitHub version control
  • You have a strong grasp of the Shopify ecosystem including its strengths and limitations
  • Local to the Seattle metro area.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • You have strong attention to detail and are committed to delivering high-quality work that meets stakeholder needs
  • You have experience implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps, as well as building unique solutions if needed.
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly
  • You are a curious, quick learner who is excited about being on a team that responsible for fast growth


Education and Experience


  • 3+ years of Shopify (Plus) development experience
  • Knowledge of underlying e-Comm conversion funnels, workflows, and processes
  • Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent preferred
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and Liquid
  • 3+ years of experience in an eCommerce development role

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
