Front End Software Developer

Job Type: Full-time,

Hybrid: 1-2 days in office (office based in Media, PA)

Salary: $95K - $115K *

We are seeking a talented and experienced Frontend Software Engineer to help launch a greenfield project for our subsidiary: cohousedesigns.com. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company by designing, implementing, and maintaining the user interface of our web applications. You will play a crucial role in creating a user-friendly and visually appealing platform that enables our clients to navigate our product catalog, place orders, and track shipments effortlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement user-friendly and responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies.


  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.


  • Optimize application performance to ensure smooth user experience, enabling our clients to easily explore our product catalog and place orders.


  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a seamless and error-free user experience.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and supply chain experts, to define and implement new features that enhance our sourcing platform.


  • Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance your skills and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).


  • 2+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Software Engineer, ideally in the e-commerce or supply chain industry.


  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript and experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js (preferred), React, Svelte, or SolidJS.


  • Experience with GraphQL and its implementation in frontend applications is highly preferred.


  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming concepts.


  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.


  • Understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance optimization techniques.


  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative coding workflows.


  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.


  • A passion for building intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
