Job Description
Front Desk/Guest Service Agent: You will be the guests' first point of connection as they enter the hotel. Throughout their stay, you will have the opportunity to build lasting impressions that we hope will result in guest loyalty. Night Audit: We're looking for a Night Auditor clerk to assist guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift. Responsibilities include checking in guests, handling their requests and taking reservations. The Night Auditor also reconciles all accounts, processes invoices, and prepares paychecks. Ultimately, you will provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly throughout the night. Night Audit Skills Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry Experience with accounting and facilities management software Excellent math skills An eye for detail Good problem-solving skills Strong customer service skills The ability to multitask Strong written and verbal communication skills Availability to work overnight Multi-tasking skills Strong communication Night Audit Responsibilities: Flexible with hours Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies Process invoices, post checks to vendors and distribute employee checks Reconcile accounts Balance the cash drawer and log receipts Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts Keep accurate financial records and ledgers Help prepare for forecasts and audits Data Entry Night Audit Schedule: 2 nights a week $17.00 hourly pay rate Front Desk Responsibilities include but not limited to : Ability to work various shifts/flexibility with schedule. Manage and resolve all guest complaints and compliments professionally and courteously. Checking guests in and out of the hotel efficiently, courteously, and professionally. Manage online, phone, and in-person room reservations Reconcile daily activities and close all necessary accounts. Learn the property systems and be able to navigate the system quickly and efficiently including running reports and distributing accordingly. Follow and process proper cash/check/credit card/AR control procedures always using proper guidelines and security. Maintain responsibility and proper security over cash and deposits at all time Follow requests by Sales Department for up-selling, marketing packages, etc. Answering the telephone and e-mails in a timely & professional manner. (Calls must be answered by the third ring). Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment. Willingness to cross-train Front Desk Requirements: High school education or equivalent experience. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Experience in guest services is highly appreciated Enjoy working in a guest service oriented environment. Professional in presentation and demeanor. Thrives working in a team environment. Excellent conflict resolution skills. Demonstrates ability to work under pressure in a busy environment. Ability to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written. Ability to cross-train in other hotel related areas. Must show initiative, including anticipating guest and operational needs. Hotel experience is highly appreciated , not required.
