About the Role: Fraud Investigator (Customer Service)

Location: Leawood, KS 66251

Job Title: Fraud Investigator

Responsibilities:

Looking for a change in career coming from law enforcement, military, legal, or banking (underwriter, claims, financial analysis)

This team is onsite 40 hours a week & there will not be any exception to this! They have roughly 20 different shifts that are based on business needs & will have the opportunity to pick from 7 different shifts once hired.

Working hours are:

Monday - Friday: 7 am - 10 pm CST

Saturday & Sunday: 8 am - 9 pm CST

Description:

  • The Fraud Representative, or Investigator, primarily handles various functions associated with fraud and abuse. Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering calls from both customers and non-customers. This position consists of but is not limited to handling manual review calls.

Qualifications:

  • Customer Service experience OR experience in any of the following fields: law enforcement, military, legal, or banking
  • Problem solving & critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced & high-volume environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Responsibilities:

  • Completes investigation/documentation and provides communication back to the caller
  • Leverage appropriate resources to support the identification and initiation of fraud or abuse investigations, and ensure relevant information is appropriately collected, analyzed, and documented
  • Utilize defined metrics for tracking and reporting
  • Exceed customer expectations by understanding their specific requirements and impact
  • Adapts procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position
  • Evaluate, process, and document identity theft and customer validation claims
  • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Bring resolution to fraudulent claims by employing tools that detect and disrupt fraud schemes
  • Requests additional caller documentation when required for investigation


Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $40000-$43648. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
