NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Create original product designs or refresh existing products designs such that they appropriately reflect Nike’s design philosophy and standards. Design products that will be created and sold to consumers. Incorporate original concepts, selection of appropriate materials, and modifications to ensure manufacturability. Advance design language and product performance to inspire and serve targeted consumers. Proactively follow the execution of all product details including, construction detail, color, form, style, fit performance, graphic application, and trim. Review samples and clearly communicate changes to ensure timely completion of each project. Work with design leadership and category team members in design, development, product testing, and product management to ensure feasibility of designs. Utilize feasibility metrics, such as, meeting intended price points, merchandising needs, and product creation timelines. Research current trends, color, and sports-related products through market research to keep abreast of consumer needs. Up to 10% international travel is required.
Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or Business and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Experience must include:
- Ideation sketching;
- Keynote;
- Adobe Illustrator;
- Sketchbook Pro;
- Adobe Photoshop;
- Knit creation
- Injection molding;
- Technical engineering;
- Procreate;
