Job Description
Responsibilities:

Join our Team of Professionals!

We consist of two acute-care hospitals: Inland Valley Hospital and Rancho Springs Hospital

Inland Valley Hospital
A 122 bed acute care hospital which features the regions only Level II Trauma Unit and is the county-designated Paramedical Base station and Southwest Riverside County’s only Center of Excellence in Weight Loss Surgery.

Rancho Springs Hospital
A 120 bed acute care hospital which includes the region’s largest birthing center along with the area’s only NICU in combination with Rady Children’s Hospital and the region’s first da Vinci Robotic Surgical Program.

As a staff member providing clinical expertise you will be responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, and quality and efficient services. Staff will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the SWHS Core Values and the hospitals mission statement.

Qualifications:
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Ø Familiar with required safety/testing procedures.
Ø Oversees and implements diversity specific safety plans and implements accident prevention/safety measures.
Ø Knowledge and understanding of cleaning procedures.
Ø Understands and practices good body mechanics.
Ø Understands proper handling of bio-hazardous waste and chemicals.
Ø Understands and practices infection control and isolation procedures.
Ø Demonstrates an awareness and implementation of National Patient Safety Goals as applicable in their area of practice.
Ø Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide floor care maintenance, knowledge of equipment and products
Ø Must have ability to interpret and communicate/read/understand in English in written and verbal material to perform essential job functions.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Ø Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide floor care maintenance, and knowledge of equipment and products.
