BIG TEX TRAILERS - FLOOR INSTALLER

Location: Big Tex Trailers 20975 US-80 Wills Point, Texas 751469
Shift: 6am-4:40pm, Monday-Thursday (Friday/Saturday as needed)
Pay: $16.00+/hour, depending on experience

Job Overview

Floor Installers utilize their advanced knowledge of woodworking and power tools to build and secure wooden flooring on to trailers.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain all company quality requirements and follow company guidelines utilizing a stop-and-fix mindset
• Maintain equipment in compliance with SOP and safety requirements
• Safely and proficiently uses tools such as tape measure, circular saw, and nail gun to install flooring
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Work as a member of a team, follow instructions, and complete tasks as assigned by lead
• Assist in the training of new floor installers
• Maintain a clean environment and follow company 5S + Safety Standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• Proficient with power tools
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in awkward positions while bending, stooping, kneeling, or standing to work overhead during 10-hour shift
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch
