Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm
Operation, installation and maintenance of high and low pressure steam systems, fire protection sprinkler systems
consisting of pressure reducing, gate, and butterfly valves, traps, expansion joints, boilers, all fire
protection/suppression and fire control systems, including sprinkler water lines, standpipes and hose connections to
sprinkler systems, air lines, jockey pumps, and standpipes connected to sprinkler systems, etc.
Must have a minimum of 5 years recent experience applicable to the trade. May be required to work an irregular
schedule and/or shift as required by the needs of operations. Will provide 24 hour emergency response as necessary
in support of these systems. Will assist fellow trade and service workers as required. Ability to work from blueprints
and process and instrumentation drawings (P&ID's), verbal instructions, or sketches is necessary. Must be able to
electric arc weld all piping systems as required and A.S.M.E. certification for steel pipe is desired. A valid MA
Sprinkler fitter license required. Must have a valid plumber’s license or obtain a pipe fitter license within 6 years of
hire date. A valid driver’s license is required. Requires the ability to climb and maneuver on ladders, staging, work
platforms and/or spaces that are tight, confined spaces, such as manholes. Crawling over and around equipment
located in building pipe chases and mechanical rooms or construction areas is a must.
Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
