The Financial Reporting Analyst is a critical role in the Financial Reporting team. This position uses various systems and tools for appropriate data gathering, consolidation and analysis of financial data necessary for required regulatory filings and management reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare annual Fixed Asset TAX reporting deliverables using Power BI, Oracle, and SAGE.
- Participate in other accounting and finance special projects, as needed. Regular, predictable attendance is essential for satisfactory performance. Develop and maintain accounting metrics. Identify trends and communicate metrics to stakeholders for decision making.
- Gather financial data to maintain accounting metrics and reports for management review and decision making.
- Prepare and update process and procedure documentation for assigned tasks.
- Assist in research of property TAX valuation methods and reporting requirements for all NTT Global Data Center Americas locations.
- Prepare reconciliations between reporting systems and general ledger.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships and utilize strong business and accounting acumen coupled with strong communication skills to effectively facilitate information flow to cross-functional business partners, external auditors, NTT stakeholders, government agencies, and the Finance organization.
- Prepare and file Sales and Use taxes by state.
- Serve as a liaison with NTT America, Inc. TAX to prepare deliverables for the completion of the annual TAX return.
- Assist in internal/external audit initiatives including, but not limited to, Sales and Use TAX, ICFR, Property Tax, and Final Audits.
- Assist in updating master mapping for various ERP Chart of Accounts including BPC, CFIN, PeopleSoft, and Oracle.
- Participate in other accounting and finance special projects, as needed.
- Accurately and timely prepare monthly management and statutory reports and assist with additional Ad Hoc reporting requirements by collaborating with cross-functional teams and analyzing existing data.

- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

- Ability to work with management and influence decision making and excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS frameworks.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Big 4 public accounting experience with Fortune 500 clients preferred.
- Experience with large ERP systems. Oracle or SAP preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 2 years of relevant accounting experience in a large corporation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Close visual work on a computer terminal.
- Able to hear and speak into a telephone.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required to operate computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
- Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.
WORK CONDITIONS
- Travel may be required.
- Must be able to work on-site as needed.
- Standard office; Data Center environment with varying temperatures and loud noises; extensive daily usage of workstation or computer.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver’s license.
This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.
NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $73,000 - $104,000.
All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
