Financial Reporting Accountant Jobs

The Financial Reporting Accountant helps support our core values and company mission by maintaining financial records and ensuring daily activity runs accurately and effectively.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Process and prepare financial data for journal entries.
• Assist with regular bank reconciliations.
• Provide support with internal and external audits and SOX reviews.
• Accomplish daily account reconciliations and monitoring in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to help provide and prepare information for reports in a timely manner.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• General knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures.
• Positive, can-do attitude, enjoys working with a team to accomplish complex projects with challenging deadlines.
• High drive for accuracy and attention to detail.
• Superior communication (written & verbal), interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience required Accounting.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

• Reading comprehension skills strong enough to read and interpret financial documents.
• Prior experience in regulated utility industry operations.
• Passion for innovation, automation, and technology.
