Financial Controller Jobs

Kelly has a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Controller to join an industry leading Manufacturer with USA operations based out of Walton, KY. This is a Direct Hire position with a starting salary of $90,000 - $125,000 based on experience, a bonus structure, and an excellent benefits package. Our great partner manufactures products for vital markets such as healthcare, transportation, and construction in a culture that facilitates individual and team success. Reporting directly to the company president, you will develop standard accounting, analysis, and reporting procedures for you and your team while embracing overall financial control responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a true experienced leader that both embraces a collaborative environment and is open to new ideas!

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Provide financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
• Recommend benchmarks that will be used to measure company performance
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements and ensure company is protected against waste, fraud, and inefficiency
• Embrace a collaborative work environment with direct reports, other divisional heads, and international leadership group
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual budget and forecasts with a focus on reporting significant budget differences
• Oversee the production of periodic financial reports ensuring that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles
• Provide Accounting training and development as needed to direct reports including Staff Accountants, Administrative Specialists, and other staff
• Maintain a focus on excellent community relations both locally and nationally
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures while implementing a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk

Skills and Requirements:

• Expertise in Accounting Software and ERP systems highly preferred – Microsoft Dynamics experience is a huge plus!
• Flexible to the business needs during deadlines
• Ability to travel internationally – passport required or will need to be obtained
• Excellent management and supervisory experience and skills
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
• 5 - 10 + years of related experience in Accounting / Finance required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration required
• Experience communicating professional vision and business planning with organizational leadership up to and including high-level executives
• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing highly preferred
