The Role
The Financial Analyst will be a key member of the organization, assisting with aggregating financial data from various data sources and using compiled data to help build out financial reporting, assisting with month-end reporting, and performing a variety of accounting and financial-related tasks for both domestic and international business operations. With over 100 SKUs and 15+ warehouse locations across the US and several internationally, the ability to understand and grasp the needs of the company will be important to the Senior Analyst’s success. Key Responsibilities

• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
• Develop, prepare, and communicate various financial reports to be delivered to management
• Assist with international invoicing, collections, accounts payable, taxes and registration as needed
• Aggregate and reconcile large data sets to ensure financial accuracy and consistency between systems
• Review of general ledger detail to ensure proper reporting and assist in analyzing monthly fluctuations and trends
• Support ad-hoc financial and data projects
• Assist other departments in a technical capacity to automate and streamline data and reporting needs

Requirements

• Independent problem-solving skills with ability to perform ad-hoc projects with autonomy
• Demonstrate management/oversight skills as well as provide feedback
• Experience with NetSuite a plus
• CPA certification a plus
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience with aggregating data into easy-to-view financial reports
• Strong Microsoft Office Excel skills and willingness to learn/expand Excel skills
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business discipline
• Understanding of accounting/financial reporting and systems
• 2+ years of work experience in accounting or related field
• Knowledge of VBA and Power BI a plus
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and manage multiple responsibilities
