Financial Analyst Jobs

This is an onsite role, located in Sheridan, Wyoming. The ideal candidate with Financial Planning & Analysis with Business Intelligence skills is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing financial data to provide insights into business performance, and they use BI tools and technologies to automate and streamline financial reporting and analysis processes. You will work closely with business partners to develop accurate forecasts and budgets and to measure business performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Consistently analyze financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports.
• Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement.
• Reporting and Visualization: Developing reports and dashboards to visualize and communicate financial data to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Business Intelligence: Leveraging BI tools and technologies to automate and streamline financial reporting and analysis processes.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborating with senior management to develop strategic plans and initiatives based on financial data insights.
• Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators.
• Financial Modeling: Building financial models to forecast future performance and identify key drivers of business success.
• Data Management: Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data by maintaining databases and ensuring data quality.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Collecting and analyzing financial data to identify trends and patterns that can be used to provide insights into business performance.
• Performance Measurement: Developing KPIs and metrics to measure business performance and track progress towards goals.

Essential Requirements

• Fresh graduate or 1 to 2 years' financial analysis and modeling experience
• Microsoft Power BI experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT or other relevant field.
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) knowledge.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
