Summary Description


The Financial Analyst’s primary responsibility will be leading the Company’s financial forecast and annual budgeting process. In addition, s/he will deliver client and division profitability analyses and key performance indicators to senior management to support tactical and strategic decision making.


Responsibilities


  • Collaborates with senior members of the accounting and finance teams.
  • Completes market research and comparable company analysis.
  • Establishes and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
  • Escalates any financial issues to management.
  • Recommends strategies for increasing financial performance.
  • Presents detailed monthly financial analyses to managers.
  • Creates variance analysis reports and financial models.
  • Leads real-time financial performance monitoring.
  • Performs financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.


Education And Requirements


  • Experience in claims adjusting and/or insurance preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Data collection, manipulation and compilation skills
  • Experience in Netsuite strongly preferred
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills with proficiency in pivot tables
  • Experience in Microstrategy preferred
