Financial Accountant Jobs

Contract Financial Accountant position in the Eagle, ID area. The ideal candidate is responsible for the coordination and execution of account reconciliations, budget compilation, and back-up to the accounts payable function.

Responsibilities

• Participate in period-end close activities to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks, including identification and resolution of unusual items and issues in a timely and accurate manner.
• Respond to information requests from third party service providers, including providers in other countries.
• Provide support for internal and external financial statements in compliance with GAAP and/or other regulatory requirements (IFRS).
• Summarize and prepare financial records and statements for external reporting
• Review and approve payment requests for regular business needs including payroll, vendors, and intercompany activities.
• Perform general accounting activities in the SAP general ledger, which includes preparing and uploading journal entries.
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations utilizing Blackline tool. Keep Trial Balances aligned between SAP and accounting providers systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP preferred; experience with Blackline is a plus
• 3+ years' accounting experience
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting
