Overview

Cypress Creek Renewables (CCR) was founded in 2014 and in the last nine years has become one of the largest solar developers and owners in the United States. CCR has developed over 11.3 GW of solar and owns 2.2 GW of solar projects. In Q4 2021 CCR was acquired by EQT, with a mission to become one of the largest green supermajors in the US. Empowered by the recent acquisition – as well as macro policy trends – CCR is entering an intense growth period. As such, CCR is seeking undergraduate candidates for a 8 to 10-week, paid internship in our Santa Monica office to join our 5-person Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team. We are looking for graduating seniors, who want to spend the summer learning the ins and outs of Corporate FP&A at a large-scale solar platform. The FP&A team has a strong desire to develop the intern who joins our team, with the potential of this opportunity leading to a full-time offer upon graduation.

Some sample projects you may work on include:

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools (include examples in cover letter or resume)
• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Preferably have at least one prior internship experience (OK if not in clean energy / clean tech)
• Have a strong desire to work in clean energy / clean tech post-college
• Senior that has finished their final term or has one remaining term to finish
• Must be able to attend in-person to the Santa Monica office during the days the team is in the office (currently 2 times a week)

Timing:

• Cypress is looking to hire interns this summer between May – August 2023 for a 8-10 week period

Location:

• Santa Monica, CA

Compensation: The hourly rate for our undergraduate internships is $20-$25/hr.
