Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
- No experience required.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Any equivalent combination of certifications, education, or experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities for the position.
Licenses, Registration, and Certifications
- Must be able to possess and maintain a valid Class ‘R’ Colorado driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record.
- Must complete required HIPAA training within the first 6 months of hire.
Position Summary
Under general supervision, assist in the analysis of results. Responsible for projects or tasks that may occur under a variety of disciplines including accounting, budgeting, rate setting and treasury. Ability to explain complex financial subjects to non-financial staff members in special projects.
This position will help with monthly fixed asset processes, including asset splits and retirements, processing quarterly asset uploads, and analyzing quarterly asset abandonment reports. The finance associate analyst will also be responsible for analyzing several smaller capital projects to determine newly created assets along with their associated costs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Compiles existing data and exhibits competency using existing processes and systems.
- Support organizational business process improvements.
- Perform related work as required.
- Researches, identifies, and reports alternative options to resolve problems and determine appropriate action.
- Participates in organization-wide initiatives Utilize professional resources to support sharing of ideas and opportunities; shares new ideas and opportunities within the group.
- Documents and updates clear, concise procedures.
- Identify and capture inaccurate and inconsistent information and recommend appropriate response.
- Understands financial control compliance.
