Schedule is Monday - Friday with Sat. as needed. 2nd shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm 8 hour shifts. Base pay rate is $18.74 per hour, paid holidays upon start, and eligibilty to bonus. This is atemp to permposition.HSD/GED along with a minimum of 12 months forklift and 2 years of qualityexperiencerequired.
PREVIOUS RUBBER EXPEREINCE STRONGLY PREFERRED. Experience with plastics or urethane will be considered.
Summary
Works closely with manufacturing operations to ensure quality standards are met. Identify, track and resolve quality problems, trends, and in some cases provide feedback to operators regarding quality issues.
Essential Functions ( Including But NOT Limited To)
  • Efficiently and according to SOP ensure all products meet quality standards.
  • Record, process and file all inspection results daily.
  • Follow SOP for all "defects" to include: NCR form, notification of supervisor, team lead and operator ( s) of the issue,and provide feedback when applicable.
  • Communicate product status during shift change to ensure effecient changeovers when applicable.
  • Accountable for any items inspected and cleared by self.
  • Adhere to guidelines of the GMP / 5S & best practice systems as well as environmental, health and safety SOP's.
Minimum Requirements
  • Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs and bend, squat, pull repeatedly
  • Ability to effectively use common production and inspection tools/gages.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office products, in order to properly complete record keeping duties.
  • Must be able to perform the essential required job functions while standing on feet for long periods of time and working around heat producing systems and equipment.
  • Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs and bend, squat, pull repeatedly
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and related specifications.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Team oriented.

Pay rate is $19.00 PLUS $1.00 Shift Premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts. If training on days pay rate is $19.00 until transfered to nights. If training on night pay rate is
$19.00 + $1.00 Premium. Any hours worked on day shift, including orientation day ( 8hrs) will be paid at the $19.00 pay rate.
