Soldering of PCB assemblies on the wave solder machine utilizing controlled programs and/or profiles specified by engineering. Ability to perform all start-up and shut down routines required as documented on the manufacturer’s or company procedures.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Support all corporate and site 6S objectives.
• Follow start-up (as well as shut-down) and safety procedures to operate machines.
• Comply with all in-house training as identified in job specific family and or specific training plan.
• Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling.
• Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on the components’ Moisture Sensitive Levels (MSL).
• Follow up on Manufacturing Process Instructions.
• Ability to perform daily and weekly Preventative Maintenance, entering results into a maintenance log.
• Review board output to assure product meets IPC-A-610 Standards.
• Ability to start the equipment, verify the correct program or profile name outlined in Company documentation and run equipment to solder PCB assemblies.

Qualifications
Skills/Knowledge

• Ability to support 2 or more product lines / customer
• Knowledge of IPC-DVD-64C Component Identification.
• Works under moderate supervision
• Pass IPC-A-610 Modules 1-8 and J-STD-001 Module 1 and 6 as needed
• Highly repetitive or routine duties
• Obtain operation specifications through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Normally follows established procedures on routine work.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance per manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Ability to work on multiple procedures / products.
• 2+ Years related experience or vocation or technical certificate without related experience
